PLANTING SEEDS

EVANGELISM AND NEW CHURCHES

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds, but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”

Matthew 13:31-32

One tiny seed - at times, you may wonder if you can make a difference.  After all, there are 2 billion lost people in the world.  There are millions of starving children.  How much impact can $10 a month have?

Or you think, “What can I do on the mission field?”  Or, you wonder if your small, quiet voice is being heard?  The answer:  Think of the tiny mustard seed, and remember, “Little is much when God is in it.”

Helping Hands partners with individuals, churches, mission organizations, and missionaries - combining resources and talents - to make the greatest impact on the Kingdom.  In everything we do, whether building a missionary house, providing medical care, training pastors, or giving out clothes and food - our ultimate goal is to plant a seed of hope -

the eternal hope of Jesus Christ.

One of our goals for Helping Hands is to leave a legacy.  One way we can do this is to partner with national pastors to plant churches, and then support these new churches temporarily so they can grow and reach out to their own communities.  We have helped establish churches in Bolivia, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Each of these churches need a partner, a sister church or individual who will “adopt” them, providing financial support and prayer support, and going to work alongside them.  There are also other ways to help, such as sending teaching materials and Bibles in their native language.

We ask that you consider supporting one of these new churches, as they plant seeds throughout the world.
