Long-Term Volunteers

We have many opportunities for people of all ages to serve on the mission field.  Our partnership with churches, missionaries, and Christian organizations provides volunteers a variety of choices to be a part of God’s Kingdom work.

EXTENDED VOLUNTEERS

We have positions available to serve for longer periods, from 2 weeks and longer, in Bolivia, South America, or Uganda, Africa.  Ministries available include working in orphanages doing evangelism and discipleship; assisting with medical clinics; coordinating visiting mission teams; working alongside native churches and new church plants; teaching in Christian school; and construction.  One of our goals is to assist others in utilizing their skills on the mission field.

CAREER MISSIONARIES

We are also seeking to partner with people who have been called by God into full-time service for Him. To be a career missionary with Helping Hands involves a more extensive process, including personal interviews, training sessions, and approval by our Board of Directors, to ensure that the partnership is a good fit for everyone involved.  We have a Missionary Manual available to those who are interested, which explains the process of becoming a career missionary.

Please be aware that volunteers are responsible for raising their own funds to cover all expenses on the mission field - this includes airfare, in-country expense (housing, food, transportation); and insurance.

Please email Brenda for more information on serving with Helping Hands for an extended period.
