TEACHING CONFERENCES

The need for sound Biblical teaching is tremendous in many countries throughout the world.  Most people, including pastors, church leaders, and lay people, have little access to resources that are readily available in developed countries.  Many do not even have Bibles, much less resources such as devotionals, commentaries, and concordances.  Television, radio, and internet access are rare.

Thus, one of the visions for Helping Hands is to take Bible training to the people.

MEN’S AND WOMEN’S CONFERENCES:

·         From one day to one week

·         Topics are planned based on needs in the community and church

·         Materials are provided free of charge

·         We work with local leaders to ensure follow-up after the conference

Conference instructors are trained pastors, professors, and church leaders, who pay their own expenses.

We also make the conferences fun and exciting, with times of worship; door prizes; and question/answer sessions.

Usually our trips also incorporate other mission work as well, such as medical, construction, and working with children, and thus people with different gifts and talents can participate.  If you are interested in this area of ministry, please contact Lisa Bell, our International Director for Conferences, at
